Smokey's Barbeque

Great food. Picked up a plate for a fundraiser. Was good chicken had good flavor and the potato salad good as well. Rice and the beans were just right nothing outstanding. The service for pick up was a different story. Asked if right place to pick up plates and person looked spaced out. Overworked probably but later before a minute said 1 more needed and walked away. I stood there and waited and later given my plates and left. Dinning area looked small but the chicken plate I would recommend. Later probably would try something else from the menu. If the rest of the food tastes like the chicken I'm going to enjoy the rest of the food of the menu. Orders for pick don't expect much but the food would be good. 🤷🏻‍♂️😎👍

Food was okay. It tasted like it was not bbqued. The chicken tasted like oven baked chicken and the brisket was dry and it tasted like it was reheated. It was pretty pricey. The sides were good :) and the staff was very friendly.

If what you’re looking for is barbecue THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! Nothing fancy, just THE place to eat your hearts content of real carne asada🥰. As should be, you get your complimentary chips and salsa. The beef ribs were falling off the bone, the fajitas were tender, and the potato salad was just like mama makes. The service was beyond expectations as well.

Honestly it’s a very nice place with a homey atmosphere ms. Lulu is always so nice and welcoming. Smokey’s has been our go to meal for years now and the flavor is always perfect 100% recommend stopping and trying the food!
