I ordered the pulled pork parfait, the pork was a bit fatty, the bbq sauce far too sweet, the Mac and cheese was really good, but the chili was inedible and tasted of ketchup with chili powder

Big John can put a Smoked Meat extravaganza in front of you. His Brisket, Ribs,Pulled pork and don’t forget the Mac and Cheese are simply amazing. He has a great Food Truck outfitted for your event or follow him to locations that he is reserved for. I was at an event last night and enjoyed everything that John and Leanna put on my plate. I know there are several BBQ trucks throughout Portland but this one is a must go to.

Let me just start by saying that it is hard to impress this Missouri boy with BBQ! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent (though a bit salty) and the sauce tangy. The Mac and cheese was excellent as was the Apple coleslaw. I ordered at the First Friday event in Milwaukie. Only thing I’d ask is maybe a choice between pulled pork and brisket.

Great satisfying nachos with pulled pork; enjoyed the apple slaw too after a day of racing at Portland Dragonboat festival!
