Maybe the best clam chowder ever... Tasty chunks and every bite. I also had a burger and fries. On the plate at the pretty common, but the burger was delicious and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. My friend had the fried oysters, and he said they were the best ever. As far as beach places go, I would return here for lunch more than once on a vacation. The five Star rating is compared to other beach-style restaurants, not five store Michelin restaurants.

Was there on Thursday Feb 26 for dinner . I think we had grace as a server. Tall and blonde hair. She was amazing. We sat at high top table facing north end. She was an incredible waitress. We had the king crabs along with the stone crabs . Out of this world delicious! Will definitely be back

Wow! What a delightful place! My wife and I are in town on vacation and stopped in this place to check it out and have a drink. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess, and then we sat down at the bar. We were instantly greeted by the bartenders. Jamie made great suggestions and he was very forthcoming in telling us about the history of their restaurant and their beers. He was incredibly attentive and accommodating! And then Erin came over to talk to us and what a breath of fresh air! She was so happy and engaging! Both Erin and Jamie took the time to go over the menu with us to explain and help us choose. Although we were just there for a quick drink, we made a decision to come back the next evening after a Tiki cruise to enjoy some great seafood from the Smokin Oyster . The next day, we d

We eat a lot of shrimp. Love it. Same with clams. We ordered the SOB shrimp and the Clams by the Dozen. Let me tell you, the SOB shrimp, apparently marinated and simmered in their "secret" low country boil were ridiculously good...flavorFULL! Not your typical Old Bay seasoning. I asked for the recipe to no avail. The Clams by the Dozen were in a broth that was tasty, it was briny with clam juice and the bread served with it went so well with the broth. Two incredibly, dare I say it, world-class dishes! I want to go back now. The SOB Lager is flavorful and not heavy. I had two. Our server, Andre, was fun and attentive. For a restaurant in a very "touristy" location, it exudes a local, small-time vibe. I want to go back now!

Our favorite did NOT disappoint! For the first time we skipped the oysters for the bacon wrapped shrimp- we ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic…. Delicious, great bacon and even better shrimp! Next up was Cajun shrimp scallop pasta! Oh man- best we have ever had. Smooth cajun cream sauce over ample grilled shrimp and scallops and linguine. Yum!! Had the drink of the day- blackberry mule- perfection. Thanks SOBs for another fabulous evening!! Kara - you were amazing!!
