Smokin' Petes BBQ [Formerly Pasquale's Italian Restaurant]

I hadn't heard of a Pittsburgh salad before. Their take on it is awesome. Chef salad with fries, onion rings, and a bread stick, oh my! Very fresh greens and extremely filling. Great job! Our waitress was very friendly and you can tell, she takes care of her regulars very well. Nice little stop along our trip.

Been stopping up on weekends all summer. A few staff changes but always great food great people make you feel like family and that's the whole package. If you need something ,ask. They're more than willing to make a change to accommodate you. Can't say enough about how well you're treated there.

Waitress was very nice but that was it. We got our food to go. The Cook's didn't have hairnets or gloves on. We ordered the nachos and the chips were stale and the cheese was congealed. Carolina bbq club was bad, the toast was burnt the chicken was okay. The Reuben was worse. The toast was burnt again, the meat tasted like it was warmed up in the microwave the cheese was congealed and gross. Our first time there and we will never return.

Others seem to like this place, but I wasn't impressed with their food or service. I ordered their BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and fries. Frankly, the $10.50 price ($8.50 burger and $2 fries) was a bit steep for the 5oz. burger with an under-done strip of bacon, BBQ sauce and a cheese sauce that was just messy (Cheese Whiz?). The service was bearly adequate, even though they weren't very busy, and besides taking and delivering our order the waitress never returned to see if we needed anything. OK if you are passing by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

AWESOME!!!! Food tastes like your mama's meals. Michelle was our waitress. Between her personality and the food it was a great dinner. 1st time there, definitely a keeper. Will be back. 😉
