Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

I kept believing this place used to be good, so I decided to give it another try yesterday—big disappointment. From the start, the experience was poor. The host at the door seemed more concerned about me breaking the door than actually greeting me. That set the tone. Once inside, I joined my friend after 10 minutes, and the service only got worse. The waitress seemed uninterested, lazy, and sloppy. Extra plates, napkins, or refills felt like a burden to her, making me hesitant to ask for anything. The food was small, poorly presented, and lacking quality. Coffee refills weren’t offered. Even the basics were unacceptable—glasses were old and dirty, and silverware looked foggy and unclean, which made me lose confidence in asking for anything else. Great to be able to have a vegan pancake option anywhere, but the best is the Sweet Potato Veggie Smash Up, sub tofu for eggs and add fauxrizo. I like habanero serrano hot sauce. Chris was patient and amazing in putting together the idea. I came back weeks later to make sure it wasn't a dream. Ronica had the same smiling dedication to service!

Very cool place. A little loud. Get on the wait list to get in quicker. Corned beef hash was very tasty. Eggs Benedict was good. The bella bella Benedict had a strange sweet sauce on it.

This is one of those spots that just seems to never disappoint. The servers are always so polite and engaging at this location, it really makes your time here that more enjoyable and relaxed. Food is always served fresh and is unlike anything other places have to offer. I am not a pancake guy, but these pancakes are my weakness. Always delicious, hot and spongey goodness with their signature styles that will have you wishing you could have them every morning. Their omelettes are always on point. Their pork belly fried rice has been my go to since it was added to the menu. Just incredible culinary innovation. Our server Nicolas, who provided excellent service, suggested a new meal for us today that had us drooling and already has us wanting to return. He gave us a new item to obsess over. T

Went with my friend, our waiter was fantastic!! His recommendations were the bomb. I ended up ordering the Basil and the Bee Burrata Toast with eggs and bacon added on top and the Super Greens Juice with a splash of pineapple juice. It was delicious!!!
