The owner went above and beyond today when my UTMB cataract surgery post op, heavily sedated Husband, insisted on a donut. We pulled up right at 1, as they were closing. I was clearly the frenzied wife trying to get her shaky husband out of our truck so he could select a donut. Even though the doors were locked, the owner asked a worker, who was taking the leftovers to a nearby church, to open the box and let my husband pick one. He did and was so happy. Thank y’all for your kindness. We’ve been there many times but never left a review. Five stars! Their kolaches are amazing plus a huge selection of donuts!
Small, local, and family run place. Best coffee on the island. Their croissants are absolutely delicious. Donuts are fresh and the place has a feel of a casual stop and go place. There is limited seating which is good. Seriously underrated. Coffee is really good every time I’ve been here.
Awesome delicious kolaches to choose from ! Frosted donuts are very appealing to the eye , beautiful! Customer service skilled, friendly and happy !
Everytime I visit Galveston I always come here for breakfast and you should too! I just moved here and I’m so excited to live right by them. They hands down have the BEST kolaches in all of Texas (and I’ve tried plenty). My go-to order is small sausage cheese kolaches and their incredible glazed donut holes, which are also amazing. If you love kolaches, you’ll become obsessed with the ones they have here. 10/10 great food great service.
Apple fritter was good but a little greasy. The plain glazed crueller and chocolate iced crueller were delicious. The Bavarian cream in the Long John could've been a bit more flavorful. The jalapeno sausage kolaches had a great flavor but were a bit bready. Would definitely return to this location in the future. The friendly service is worth the trip.
