So Far So Good

Great, and authentically decorated Chinese restaurant. Deco consisted of paper lanterns, and walls painted to match the lanterns. The food was absolutely great and authentic. They served good portions where we all took leftover home. We were a group of 4. We ordered sesame chicken, pork lo mein, chicken with broccoli, beef broccoli, seafood sizzle, wonton soup, miso soup, sweet and sour soup all meals come eith white or brown rice. For appetizers we ordered crab rangoon and boneless spare rib tips. Everyone in my group was satisfied with thier food choice. Staff was great and attentive. Definitely going back again.

Authentic old school Chinese food like so many spots used to be, but have since closed. Skip the chain Chinese places and come here for a great sit down experience with great quality and tasting food! Keep up the great work, its definitely So Far So Good!!!

I went to So Far So Good and it really was good! The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant has a cozy, family atmosphere that I loved and definitely makes me want to come back. The only downside was the cosmopolitan I ordered—it was a bit watered down. Other than that, everything else was great!

So Far So Good – Long Island, NY I visited So Far So Good after hearing a lot of buzz online and from a couple of friends. The name itself is clever and inviting, and the space definitely has that cool, trendy vibe. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s trying to offer something different—something more modern and stylish than your typical café or brunch spot in the area. And to be fair, it succeeds in a few ways. But overall, for me, it was a mixed experience—hence the 3 stars. The interior is nice. Clean lines, good lighting, and a kind of laid-back, “Instagram-friendly” atmosphere. There’s greenery, cute tables, and a warm, welcoming layout. The smell of this restaurant will beg you to come inside because of how good it is, it's very important you ignore it because it's very deceiving. It's very possible that I got the wrong thing.. but I doubt it. Extremely overpriced, no seasoning, wings were not fried well, very soggy. Customer service was however very good.
