Customer Reviews
Came here for the first time this evening, and already told a bunch of friends and family how great it was! Kudos to their chef because the food was delicious and brought to the table quickly. I had the meatloaf dinner(highly recommend!!). The place was busy, but we made reservations so there wasn’t any wait time. Everyone seemed very friendly and I got the cheesecake balls to go - Ive never had fried cheesecake before and these were so good!!! I couldn’t decide whether I wanted the chocolate sauce or the strawberry sauce, so they gave me both on the side. The food was great, the service superb, prices were right….. Can’t wait to come back!!!!
Excellent experience, from start to finish. Super-attentive staff. Amazing menu with sandwiches, tons of appetizers, entrees and pasta options. We loved that the entrees came with mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious comfort food. Will definitely be back when we're in the area again.
Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! I ordered the Chicken Tuscan dinner . My husband ordered the steak salad and quesadillas. It was all delicious! I ordered the batter fried cauliflower for an appetizer , which was very good! Unfortunately, I did not get a picture for it since I was so hungry I ate it right up!
Service was great, food ok. We stopped here for lunch, visiting the area. My spouse had a grilled cajun sandwich, I had a bowl of French Onion Soup, and we split an order of "Bog Balls", which, we learned, are the local version of New Orleans' Boudin Balls. Cajun sandwich was good, spouse said, Bog Balls were very tasty! "Station Sauce" served with them was good, too. Forget the French Onion Soup... I'm certainly trying to! It was awful. Not sure if this lunch, with 2 iced teas, no alcohol, was worth $40. Atmosphere was "old bar", authentically, because it is an old bar; and it's very, very dark, with lots of red, and the entire wall next to our table was mirrored. Looks like a fun place on a Friday night, but not great for lunch.
This was my first time trying socastee station. I have been looking for some comfort food and was very excited to find this spot less than 10 minutes from the house. I ordered to go and the customer service was phenomenal. The food did lack taste to me but I will definitely be trying other items in the future. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, it is extremely refreshing to find a place that is so welcoming and pleasant. Thanks again.
