Sofia's Taqueria Toms River

The entrée presentation and overall restaurant atmosphere are truly a must-see. We enjoyed our experience, and the staff was very professional. At one point, we were seated in an empty room toward the back, but after requesting to be moved, we were happily relocated to a more lively area. Aside from that brief moment, it was a very good experience.

What a lovely experience! Such a beautiful place, so nice and colorful, with exceptional food, and service. Our server CeCe was super nice and friendly! The food was amazing and Im sure the cocktails would have been, but it was lunchtime and we still had too much work to do still. We had the shrimp and street corn empanadas and cod fish tacos! So delicious! Also a side if their special guacamole! If I live closer, I would be eating here once a week. Give this place a try if you were craving some very good Mexican food! Buy a tee shirt too, those were pretty cool!

I had my 36th birthday dinner at Sophia’s Taqueria in Toms River, and it was amazing! The staff was so friendly and made the celebration feel special. The salsa and chips were fresh and flavorful, and the Sofia’s Secret Guacamole Dip was next-level delicious. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Suizas Sauce, and the flavors were incredible — easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Dessert was the Horchata Flan, and it was the perfect finish — creamy, sweet, and full of cinnamon flavor. The team even came out to sing happy birthday! Great food, great vibes, and amazing service. Highly recommend for birthdays, date nights, or just an awesome dinner out!

A colorful and friendly atmosphere with delicious food and great service. What I thought was great about this restaurant: - has plenty of space inside and doesn’t feel crowded - it’s beautifully decorated - has a special room for gatherings or small parties - service was excellent - huge parking lot - fast service Would definitely come back.

Very attentive servers! We enjoyed all delicious food from appetizers to dessert! Reserved a table online and only waited a few minutes upon arrival ! Atmosphere is fun and good music playing too!
