SoKongDong Tofu & BBQ Restaurant

If you like Korean food, I think you're going to love this place. This was my first time eating Korean and trying tofu. My soup was delicious and so was the chicken but I didn't like the texture of the tofu so I removed it from my soup. They served us an appetizer which included two boiled eggs, noodles, macaroni salad, firmer cubes of tofu and a sardine. We tried it all but everything (except the sardine) was cold so we didn't like it. I guess that's how it's served in Korea? I'd go back again because like I said, the main dish was delicious but next time, I'll order the appetizer. LOL

This place was recommended and I am so glad she introduced it to me. My friends and I went here for dinner and it did not disappoint. Service was fast, food quality was superb, and staff were so welcoming and attentive. The place reminded me of the restaurants I visited in Korea, it gave such a nice feel. My friends and I ordered spicy cold noodles, galbi, seafood pancake, pork tofu soup and beef tofu soup. We were speechless, so flavorful, the quality and taste is were chef’s kiss. I’m visiting again when I come back, and you should go try it out too!

So Kong Dong is a good restaurant. Their cold noodle soup is great, although it is best in the summer. The hot tofu soup is always a great comfort food to eat. I prefer the bibimbap at Han Il Kwan, but the prices are better at So Kong Dong.

Dined here this evening with my son after he received a recommendation from a work colleague. I had the amazing short ribs and he had the Bulgogi. Both were superb as were the included sides including kimchi, glass noodles, Asian broccoli and more. Best Korean that I have had in the USA!

Me and my family have came for many years here and every time we leave happy and full. The food is amazing and the people are nice.
