Somerville Public Library East Branch

This is a lovely one-room branch library with excellent staff and limited space. TL;DR you can print and use computers and WiFi there, but it's not always the quietest place to work. It's in the Minuteman Library network, so you can request books from other libraries in MinLib. WIFI AND PRINTING: There are public restrooms, WiFi, desktop computers, a phone charging station, and mobile and desktop printing in color and black and white. Wifi extends to the little park and seating area outside which is nice for good weather. You can print about 20 black and white or 10 color pages a day for FREE, and pay for extra pages in cash if you need to go over the limit. There's a lovely community bulletin board with info about social services and city programs in many languages. KIDS AND PLAY SPACE: T

This is a very cozy library! I came at night, and it was pretty empty, which was perfect for focus! It's a small library, but they have pretty serious noise limitations which should make it very workable even when busier! The only downside in my opinion is that it's not the easiest or best library to get to, but if you're in the area, it's an excellent place to go!

Great faculty!!! Some have been there for years putting their best work and love to what they do. After students get out of school from Prospect Hill are loud, but the librarians do their best effort to keep them quite. Or unfortunate have to be kicked out.

The librarians here are really helpful and patient! A tad bit noisy but it's a pleasant wholesome place to sit in and get work done.

This a good library ... the best out of all three branches within the City. However, it would be a GREAT library if the students from the Prospect Hill Academy on Franklin Street were told to behave themselves. In addition, frequent ESL classes held within the already small facility tend to create an annoying distraction for those there trying to do their work.
