Sonic Drive-In

Horrible location that cheated us. On Friday, 12/26, we ordered two Premium Chicken Bites combo meals. Half of each of the orders were filled with 5 tater tots at the bottom. Exactly 5 each and down at the bottom of the container. That doesn't happen by accident; it was clearly purposeful. I don't trash places in my reviews - you can check them out. I normally praise places.

I'm not one to usually write reviews...and this is not about the food. What I will say is beware the staff and management. My family and I were passing through Hamilton on the way to Abilene. I was pulling a trailer and accidentally knocked down a trash can that was sitting in the driveway. I got out of my vehicle, reset the trash can and found a place to park while my wife placed our order. All of the sudden an employee was at my car door demanding my insurance information for hitting their trash can which I refused. I got the locations manager on the phone and was given a story about how people had hit their building and left. So now they wanted me to pay for their beloved trash can. I would have no problem replacing something I damaged, but the can was back up collecting trash b

Carhops were outside talking to someone while I waited for service and then her mic wasn't working properly. Once she came out to take my order she was friendly but no apology for the wait.

Ordered the food less than 5 minutes from the location, checked in and 12 minutes after the order was placed, I received my order. The issue with the order is it was cold. As I was just passing through, it was more of a hassle to turn around and have the order corrected. Make sure you check your order before you leave.

Couldn't figure out why something kept getting stuck to my straw, originally I thought it was ice. Eventally I dumped it out because I relized it wasn't ice. Come to find out there was a receipt at the bottom of my cup bellow the ice (not eveen the receipt for my order.... completely disgusted
