Sonic Drive-In

Needed to grab some food while on the road. Googled the nearest Sonic, and within minutes I was sitting in their parking lot. After a brief wait, someone over the speaker responded to take our order. The kiddos wanted the usual, chicken tenders and fries. Within moments the food was being delivered to our door, hot and fresh!

The tater tots were perfectly crisp and the milkshake really tied it all together. The burgers always hit. The service was also fast and helpful. My favorite quick bite.

The obvious emphasis on carhop and drive-thru service was a little off-putting at first. But I kind of like the efficiency of it. The special local teriyaki burger what's surprisingly good. And the crinkle fries were great. The carbonation strength of the Coca-Cola was second only to McDonald's. I will definitely be returning.

It was okay. Not many parking spots. We ended up eating outside at the tables. Nice and shaded. Kinda lame they don’t come out in skates. Food was not worth what was paid. My daughter ordered a corn dog and the first time it was literally burnt, the top of the corn dog was black. I asked if we could get another and we waited 10 mins for another one that was almost burnt. I didn’t want my daughter to have to wait again so she just ate half of it. Slushy and milkshake were good. Not THE best. Probably won’t be back.

This was our second time going here. Both occasions the service and food was pretty good. We had the bacon cheeseburgers and tater tot chili cheese fries. There are parking stalls to order to drive up and order a well as a drive-through,but there are not that many stalls. The service was fast and the employee was friendly. We will probably be going back when we visit Maui.
