Sonny's Fried Chicken

After being told to do so numerous times, I finally decided to check out this chicken place. I got a 5pc chicken tender basket with fries, "secret sauce," and bbq sauce. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful cashier, who was more than happy to assist with my first experience. The self-serve fountain drink machine worked just fine for me. While I waited for my food, I took the time to absorb the surroundings. There were people chatting about, customers and crew, as if everyone were friends, which is always nice to see, you can tell this place has a good amount of regulars just in the short time I was here. It felt like a new diner though, as there wasn't really much decoration to immerse into, felt like just another sitting area. Alright, so my food came out. I went to my work

First time i ordered from them i got the 3pc tenders w red beans as my side and they were delicious and the tenders were amazing and very large and perfectly seasoned,very hot and fresh also great secret sauce!!

Service and restaurant were professional and clean. Workers were cordial. Menu has a lot of variety. However I got a 2pc. dark fried chicken basket and nothing was seasoned. Chicken was bland. Fries were plain. And chicken tasted like grease was old. But the food was hot, thats why I gave it 2 stars. I've had their food before and it was great. Maybe it was just an off day. I will be back cause everyone has off days.
