Sonny's Roti Shop

Sonny’s is bussing!! Try the doubles and be sure to get extra pepper and tamarind sauce!!! Love the food and flavors. The staff are well… West Indian so they are very to the point, no small talk! The shop stays busy so maybe they’re just to busy trying to accommodate everyone to speak. Great food!!

Its 915pm and all my local spots closed ..needed to do a double run for my kid.. found sonny's on google and they open til 10am...omg! What a amazing find.. drove from bayside to liberty ..Delicious doubles ..my kid loved the shrimp doubles and I just had the most amazing tripe double..flavor on point..friendly staff and very clean ! Next time I'm going to get the rice dishes and fried rice.. 😋

The first time I came in there the doubles was on point and the lady gave me alot of tamarind sauce it was so good. I came a second there was a different lady who seem not to care that much and didn't give me as much tamarind sauce. So I was like maybe it was a bad day. The second time I came in there and told the lady to give me a lot of tamarind sauce which she still didn't do. I ask for buss up shot, which is didn't get. I order chicken meal and only got four potatoes, four pieces of curry chicken and no pumpkin, which was requested.

I usually get doubles from Singh’s roti shop I was in the area and decided to try doubles from this roti shop I got 2 doubles and it was disgusting it had no flavor and the dough, was cold, almost as if it was two days old I couldn’t eat it and lady who made it was rude, she didn’t even gave napkins or a fork to pick up chick peas 🤮🤮🤮

a lady there is rude to me and rude enough to not give me napkins when i order there. i try to order later so i can avoid interacting with her but today i had to deal with her and yet again no napkins for a meal. disrespectful.
