Sonora Taqueria is consistently excellent. The food is always delicious, portions are generous, and the prices are hard to beat. It’s one of those places where you know exactly what you’re getting, and it never disappoints. They’re efficient, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, even when things are busy. Orders come out quickly without feeling rushed, which makes it an easy go-to whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or takeout. This is hands down my go-to spot in San Rafael whenever I’m craving Mexican food. Reliable, tasty, and great value every single time.

Tried Sonora Taqueria in San Rafael and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype given the high reviews. I had the burrito, which was overly salty and lacked real flavor. The service was underwhelming—slow and not very attentive. My friend felt very unwell afterwards. Overall, not a place I’d return to.

The best Mexican in Terra Linda. The location is small, but the food is amazing. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Portions are great! Highly recommend.
