Sorrento Pizzeria & Restaurant

Doing a local renovation went to Sorrento’s for pizza for everyone. Hands down best pizza! The white pizza was the best any of us have ever had! EVER! We had about 13 people on the job tell me it was the best pizza they’ve ever had! Can’t wait to try their dinner dishes! Well done Sorrentino!!

We’ve passed this restaurant time after time after time and never thought about ordering pizza from there. We LOVE pizza and are always on the lookout for great pizza spots. This particular day we wanted pizza but didn’t want to get it from any of our familiar spots, so we looked at Google Reviews to see what were the highest rated pizza restaurants in Stamford. We saw that Sorrento’s had a good rating and favorable comments. We decided to go for it and give it a try. We knew we wanted to get pepperoni but THEN we saw their Mike’s Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza and said, we have to try that. We ended up ordering a large Mike’s hot honey pepperoni pizza and fried calamari. One issue we had is that their menu on the website doesn’t have prices. Wanting pizza on a Friday night, Sorrento’s came highly recommended. Service was great and we were seated right away. Fresh bread and butter was delivered complimentary to the table. Our group got the Brooklyn Pizza and I ordered a personal pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onions and peppers. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Great prices! Parking lot available.

Really felt welcome and the food and service were impeccable. Loved the warm tasty bread, pasta and the chicken, eggplant combo. Will come back soon to try the hot chicken scarpiello.

On the quest for best Sicilian Pizza 🍕 in the area. Light airy and great tasting sauce and cheese ordered with onions and cherry peppers This is not NYC style Sicilian as not chewy or dense yet very tasty. Overall a really 👍😊 Sicilian pizza feeds 4+ with two slices each. Sorento makes consistently good Italian food from a pizziola who knows pies just will be continuing our quest. Ranks below Slice for best Sicilian in Stamford but above most others we've had in Stamford. Will be back for their great food and service.... (Photo taken after devouring first two slices)
