Soto

Stopped in for lunch and had the Lunch Special. It had a little bit of everything, perfect for trying Soto for the first time. Takoyaki was delicious! Loved the Bluefin Cheek Toro with Sturgeon Caviar and gold flakes. All the sushi and sashimi I had tasted amazing. If you’re looking for simple and delicious sushi check out Soto.

Omg — this place is a hidden, sophisticated gem. Booked a last minute reservation for 1 at 9pm on a Friday, wanted sushi after shopping, and what a solo date night treat. 1) Daily specials had fish flown in from Japan— I got the Bluefin Tuna with sturgeon caviar and gold flakes, omg. 2) SO incredibly reasonable for price — you can tell their menu is really thought out, and really really good price point given high quality. 3) The service and atmosphere was really great — quick, didn’t really weird sitting at the sushi bar by myself, really upscale and sophisticated without being stuffy, and honestly couldn’t stayed longer watching the chef. Great sushi! Great service from our server Kelsey (not sure if spelling is correct. Took the spicy scallop and white tiger rolls. The uni pasta was good but very rich. Would only recommend if you are familiar with Japanese style pasta dishes. The individual sushi from the market was tasty but would only recommend for the fun of trying it, it’s not enough for an appetizer.

Kevin L is the man. You have a lady you wanna take out and wine/dine, Kevin L held it down. Great experience in atmosphere and everything else just kind of wrapped it up. Simultaneously the food was 5.5 stars. The photo is after math

Went here for my daughter's 24th birthday dinner. We started the table with edamame and shishito peppers. I had the Nashi cocktail which was delicious, and opted for the Soto Sashimi Maki roll and several pieces of nigiri including the unagi and the O-toro. The roll was wrapped in cucumber which made it difficult to eat in one bite but it was so so good. There was a special Firecracker roll that I shared with my son and I wish I could remember the name of it because I would definitely order that one again. We ended the meal with a green tea tiramisu for the birthday girl.
