Ordered a burger and it came on sandwich bread. The fried chicken was tiny.

This place is like eating at your momma house. Even doe they are a small business. The food will make up for it. The customers service could be better. But this is a family own and run business. Give them the benefit of of doubt. This is not a 5 star restaurant. This is good old southern cook food. Some people are so bougie. And cant take in the great atomsphere. If you want something go early. They sell out quick because they make a minimum amount of food. Everything is fresh.

I had the beef liver, white rice, and cabbage. My man had the whiting, yams and greens. I loved every bite of my meal and my man said his was good as well. We will be back.

I wish I could give a higher review. We honestly tried to give the benefit of the doubt. However, our experience was terrible from start to finish. There was only one menu that was taped to the bar so we all had to huddle around it to see what we wanted. The cashier was obviously a younger teenager, but she had no customer service skills. We asked if the fish was cooked in the same grease as the shrimp. Her reply, "I don't know, I don't cook the food." We asked her to ask, and she got an attitude. She was not familiar with the menu so every item that we ordered she made me show it to her on the menu so that she could write it down. She scribbled all over the pad and got the orders wrong.
