Two of my daughters and I had chicken tenders with french fries, fried pork chop with with macaroni and cheese, and I had fried shrimp with spicy cabbage. We also ordered two cornbread rolls. We were short on time so we ordered everything to go. Note that they have canned soda. Looks like Pepsi products. All the food was really good, well executed and the kids said they would go there again.

Okay so I read the reviews and looked at the pictures and decided we were going to try this place. I even called to make sure they were open before heading over. I ordered the turkey wings and rice, black eye peas and candy yams. The presentation was A1, however the taste was missing. The turkey wings have seasonings on the skin but not so much on the meat. The yams were sweet and a bit harder than I prefer but still tasty. The beans were okay but not the best I've had. All in all, it wasn't a complete bust but I wouldn't get turkey wings again. They have beautiful pictures online so I would try the smothered pork chops and gravy with Mac and cheese and the greens. The lady that I assume was the owner was polite and told me they were out of greens and a few other things, which I appreciate

Hello my PG friend! My wife and I just finished dinner from Souls Food Restaurant, and let me tell you -- they did not miss. She had the smothered pork chops with mac n cheese, and candied yams. I went with the smothered chicken and the same sides. Every bite, down to the very last scrap, was flat-out amazing. I was passing through for vacation and ordered from here. The food was really good. I ordered two turkey legs, yams and mac and cheese. I would definitely try again.

The drive was worth every bite. The staff are super friendly and the side dishes are really good 10/10 will come again when I visit Daytona
