GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!! 2 weeks ago I had the Ox tails,cabbage and Greens Absolutely Outstanding. Today went in for Beef tips ,sold out;( but had Chicken Curry and cabbage... WOW, WOW, WOW The Best Curry I've Ever had... also had the Small Strawberry cake , I should have taken a picture before I ate it... Delicious

My daughter and I stopped by while on a roadtrip and wowee, this was the best food we had all week! We had the oxtail, Mac n cheese, beef patty, and banana pudding. The oxtail portion is large enough for me to have it for two meals. Everything was DELICIOUS and I appreciated that the chef checked in on us. There’s 2 tables inside.

1st time trying the Soul Food Shack, I went went the Ox tails, mac and cheese, & cornbread. Was told the meat falls off the bone. Today it didn't, it wasn't tough but wasn't that tender and tasted sorta sweet, not my cup of tea.

3 of us ate there today for the first time. 2 of us had fried catfish and 1 had the jerk chicken. All of us were thankful we went here. So good all the way around. We will be back for sure.

I ordered all they have on the menu that was available. The pasta was excellent. I added the oxtail and it was delicious. The beef tips and rice was excellent. Catfish was fire. The banana pudding must be excellent as a customer that was in prior to us purchased it all. The sides are exceptional. Home cooked to perfection. Pricing is fair for what you get.
