South Regional Library

I haven't been excited about giving a place, or a product, or service a five star in a long time. This library is extremely clean, comfortable, very quiet and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've been looking for a place like this for a couple days. This is it. It's gonna cost me a 20/25-minute drive from home but it's all worthwhile. I just need to study in a different place now that I am immersed in a new career.

Overall, this library is spacious, well stocked and clean. There are bathrooms near the entrance. Each section of the library has a place to sit, read and work with WiFi. The children's room is positioned near the front desk but still separate from the rest of the library. The children's section has a variety of books, computers, games, tables with activities and study rooms. The exterior has shaded places to sit and they also have an drive thru book/video drop for returns without having to go inside.

It’s incredibly inconsiderate how some people use public library spaces, especially those who rent rooms or hold group activities, without any regard for others trying to study. I shouldn’t have to spend the last 10 minutes of my limited study time listening to loud conversations about happy hour plans or personal chatter. This is a library, not a social lounge. Many of us come here specifically because we need a quiet environment to focus. Please be more mindful—some people don’t have the luxury of time and rely on this space for serious work.
