South Side Fish & Chicken Grill -GRAVOIS

We got the "super Philly" the sandwich itself was decent but not much to it for being a "super" and the cheese sticks were completely empty just fried breading.... Also the order took almost an hour to make and they weren't even busy.... I think we'll stick to Johnny's 🤷

I did a call in order for a small chicken philly i did not realize that on the receipt he put a 6inch chicken sandwich that i did not want , i called to see if he could give me the Philly instead but he didn’t want to exchange orders when the guy who cashed me out got the wrong order. The sandwich looked like ot sat out and look like a chicken tender .

I used to give this place a five-star rating. A double cheeseburger used to be $5.99 it's now $11.99 and the hamburger patties half the size for a double cheeseburger. It was still decent tasting but it's not like it used to be and the french fries were horrible. The french fries are almost unedible so I don't know what happened covid-19 maybe and maybe inflation affected everything but it is not as good as it used to be. I'm going to try it again and hopefully things will be different they are very nice though and they've always been very nice. Their service is fantastic. I will update on the next trip.

I preordered and picked up 150 pieces of chicken for a work picnic on Sunday for ~100 people and 50% of people came up to me to ask where the chicken was from, not to mention the countless email and text inquiries till now (Tuesday). Amazing value, amazing flavor, amazing service. Not a bad experience since I’ve been going (circa 2017)🫶🏽🍉

Update; the owner told me that they changed their name from Chicago Grill to Southside Grill. He stated that it was the same food just a different name. I ordered a double cheeseburger with cheese fries. The foods cooked after you order it. So, if you don't call it in you'll have to wait about 15 minutes. The only small complaint that I have is they gave less fries then usual. The foods on par and worth the money. Love this place! The foods always awesome and hot. Staff is courteous. Prices are very decent considering the amount of food you get. For me it's always 2 meals. The best part is that they accept EBT for payment. I highly recommend eating here, you won't be sorry.
