I’m giving this place one star because I just ordered takeout (6/19/25) and the macaroni and cheese is bone dry and does not have a flavor at all. It basically tastes like noodles I ordered the shrimp and oyster po’boy; the oyster is cooked to a crisp and dry. I don’t even feel like going Back up there. I had a long day at work, but this is not it! Never again!
Allowing smoking now is a no for me. I come from Richmond all the time and this was always my go to but now that they have hookah and allow vaping I enjoyed the food and music but won’t be back. Just a side note they have lost business with this or something because it’s normally packed in here.
What a horrible horrible experience for brunch, peedy eggs, soft home fries, pork chop with a massive bone (less meat) and literally thrown bbq sauce on it, a burger of idk what kind of meat served in to go trays cuz they have no plates. $68.00 spent with gratuity added, our server literally out the trays in the middle wit some plastic wear and said here ya go. Didn’t tell us what was what. Nothing. I see why nobody is here. What service? I waited an hour for this bs. I was so hungry to get my plate and see this bs. Smfh I feel bad for the dj he doing his thing with such poor service and bad food around him out of his control. I WON’T BE BACK I WILL NOT SUGGEST THIS PLACE FOR NOTHING. This is the second time I have this place a chance. I’m over it paying an arm and leg for the nonsense.
The absolute best fried turkey wings in Virginia! I have searched high and low for fried turkey wings smothered in brown gravy, and the Lord actually heard my cry. Food is soulful and elegant, at the same dang time. The drinks actually have alcohol in it. The staff, all the way up the owner, provides great service! The Mac and cheese is not dry. Did I say the turkey wings are actually fried? And on the weekends after 9pm, it gets LIT! Club LIT! Try em out, it wont disappoint.
This pub just opened recently, and I really enjoyed myself. They have many menu items to choose from, and the happy hour deals are amazing. I was even happier when I saw that happy hour ends at 8:00. My food was pretty good, and our service was excellent. A DJ arrived a little later, and he took the vibe to another level. I look forward to returning very soon.
