Southern Shores Seafood

As a first-timer I called in my order. The young lady who answered was pleasant & patient. Upon arrival it took several minutes for the servers to acknowledge my presence as I patiently stood at the very visible counter. The dining area was clean and fairly quiet. It stood out that I noticed several families enjoying their meals. The food was very delicious! I received a hefty snapper fillet. I actually forgot to ask them to drop it an extra few seconds. However, it was fried to perfection. The portions of rice & cheese grits were not enough for the price paid. I'd still return when I visit again!

30 oz tea was wonderful. Shrimp, oysters and Lima beans seasoned and cooked perfectly. Amazing service and delicious meal!!!

We went last Wednesday for dinner and the 6 of us loved everything! Our waitress was so friendly and very attentive. She even thanked my father-in-law(Vietnam Vet) for his service. The food was delicious! And maybe the owner? came out and the end of our dinner to ask how everything was. We went to leave and wanted a family pic and the owner took it for us. Great experience all the way around! Highly recommend.

I just had a WONDERFUL meal at the Southern Shores restaurant in Valdosta GA. They Im between events at Jennings gp raceway and wanted to publicly thank Aundrea and her friends at Southern Shores for their excellent hospitality!!! If you're headed to Jennings or Homestead and need a good meal on the way stop in and Aundrea will personally wrestle you up some fresh Gator and it'll be worth your time I promise. Live like you appreciate the life you were given. And love like the one who carried your cross. Q

You know how sometimes you walk into a place and just feel good about it? That's exactly how we felt here! This spot was spotless, seriously one of the cleanest places we've ever eaten. But it wasn't just the cleanliness that made our day. The staff was fantastic, and Melanie, our waitress, was an absolute gem, so friendly and welcoming. She really made us feel right at home. My husband and I had such a wonderful time, and the food? Oh my goodness, it was out of this world! Every bite was pure perfection. We're already planning on making this one of our regular go-to's whenever we're craving amazing food. Truly top-notch!
