Southside Café ‘Roto’

The food was good and the service was very courteous. There were lots of options. The process to bus your own table was a little chaotic because it was very crowded, but I would definitely go back.

Everything is really really good (except the pizza… weird!). Lots of options, and you can check the menu online. Sometimes meals are really cheap, sometimes they are really expensive. It balances out. Most staff are great, other don’t want to help and don’t care.

The food is fairly decent, a lot better than I expected. The low rating is there because they close earlier than advertised. I showed up at about 7:10, the doors were already locked and I was only able to get in because someone else was leaving. Once I got into the actual cafe, every station was closed down and cleaning had already started, there was no food available other than cereal and the bread/peanut butter. What is the point of posting a closing time of 7:30 when the entire cafe is already shut down by 7:10?

Great food. My favorite is the sandwich bar. Basically a Subway, but you can use your RDA for it. Huge selection of different meals. As well as the "Chef's Creation" which changes each day. I would recommend looking up the daily meal online as it is usually a good one.

love the wraps and all the different kinds of food (though a lot of the time they look good, but are bland in taste) but I wouldn't suggest the burger grill since every single time I go get a burger my order has always been messed up (even when it was super slow there) in some way and it seems like sometimes when it gets busy, they sometimes have people working on the grill going so slow! Never getting a burger again, tired of getting my order constantly messed up
