Southwest Ouachita Waterworks

Be warned everyone . Not only did I make a attempt several times to pay my bill . Conviently they were closed " due to ice storm " . Then there has been a issue on Randy Rd for over 3 weeks with the water . Where someone Can't seem to find a dang Water Line before they start digging . It has caused daily interruptions due to the water having to be shut off . Because of all the water going on & off daily , it has caused major problems with my faucets now . Not to mention due to them cutting on & off the water , they are adding way more chemicals to the water

First and foremost it's a family run business so anything one of them says the rest will back them on it. And Ive had nothing but holy hell ever since I moved out in the country. I live alone and I supposedly used 94 000 gallons of water in 14 days. And I don't even have a pool. The prisons don't even used that much. A total nightmare that's supposed to be a friendly business I wish I could afford a water well to be drilled on my property, because I would but with many more $900 water bills I will be able to.

I read through the reviews and wow I couldn't relate any.stronger to the inconsistent crazy high billing for such terrible water. If they cut you off you pay a reconnect fee haa they simply turn your meter valve and put a zip.tie in it daring you to touch it so they can drop a 200 tamper fee plus that 50dollar reconnect!! If you pay it on a Friday and it's after 2-3 o'clock it may.not get on til Monday and if it's a holiday it may.be Tuesday eventough I'm perfectly capable of cutting a ziptie and turning the valve. I even once had it cutoff only it was shut all the way off the ziptie was still in tact but because the meter had a different reading I was charges 200.00 tamper fee. Their fault totally and I'm charged.. I so badly wish to almighty God i.could afford to have a well drilled. Th

My wife went to go start service and they absolutely refused to put it in my name even though we are legally married. My wife had to go to our new landlord and get a whole new slip with her name on it just so they would turn the water on. The elderly lady who my wife talked to was extremely rude and was forceful when handing things back to her. If I had the choice I’d go to another company. I dread going forward with my service.

They waited 3 months to check my meter then slammed me with a $5,000+ water bill when there was a leak 200 yards from my house where I don't see regularly. Absolutely refused to budge at all on the bill.
