Souvlaki GR – Midtown West

The experience was wonderful! After a long day of walking we were hoping to enjoy a taste of home. As we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with open arms, and the exquisite scenery (as if we were really in Greece!). The food was absolutely delicious! The souvlaki was tender and the salad tasted like a home away from home. For desert, the baklava was sweet and flavourful, and the loukoumades were extremely well made. I cannot be further excited for our next trip to New York City and to be able to experience this truly authentic Greek experience again!

My partner and I visited for lunch and it was the perfect spot. Our waiter Paul was spectacular at recommending plates for a light lunch. We had two skewers each as an entree paired with the Houmouli cheese. Our meal was simply divine. I had the Greek mule which is hands down the best Moscow mule I have ever had. The atmosphere was perfect for a lunch spot and the service was quick and pleasant. We look forward to returning soon

This place was super cute. The atmosphere mimics Greece and the food was delish. The drinks were tasty, but not very strong and the servers were amazing.

​Greek Island Vibes (Without the $1,200 Flight)! If you're tired of that New York Winter, duck into Souvlaki GR. It’s basically a Greek teleportation device—one minute you’re dodging icy slush, the next you’re surrounded by blue walls and staff so authentically Greek I expected someone to start breaking plates. The food is awesome, and the cocktail I "treated" myself to was the perfect Sunday lunch companion (read: it made me forget my toes were numb). 10/10 would hide from the wind here again.
