Sparky's Homemade Ice Cream

Our favorite boba spot moved and closes early now, so we had to find a new company. I do miss the creme brulee I used to get with the other company, but I enjoyed the hot pumpkin spice milk tea I tried here. My husband and daughter enjoyed their snow and slushes with boba. The difference between the two is one has milk and the other doesn't. I think the snow has milk, but I could be wrong. I haven't seen snow/slush options at other establishments and its a nice option on a hot day.

I’ve tried many different ice cream shops, including some of the well-known and recommended ones, but this one truly stands out as my favorite.

Sparks Ice Cream is my go to treat spot in Columbia. The green tea and honey lavender are my forever favorites so creamy, refreshing, and unique. I also love that they offer pints to go. Perfect for keeping joy in the freezer. I always appreciate how the staff takes time to offer little tasting spoons. They have never been rude, not once, and I know it takes real patience sometimes. Thank you all so much for being kind and thoughtful. The vibe is cozy, the service is genuine, and every visit feels like a small celebration. Absolutely worth every scoop.

I lived in Columbia years ago, but whenever I'm in town Sparky's Homemade Ice Cream is a must! Their flavor combinations are incredible. They do have vegan and dairy-free options available daily.

Stopped by Sparky's on the way back to St Louis, and this place does not disappoint! Ordered two scoops chocolate & coffee topped with walnuts and whipped cream. Talk about yummy! Love the LGBTQIA+ friendly atmosphere. Sat outside on this Sunday afternoon enjoying the sights and weather. It's a perfect little ice cream shop! I'll definitely come back again when going to Columbia, MO!
