Speezy's Soul Food

Got the fish. It was seasoned perfectly and fried perfectly. It was flaky, juicy, and crunchy. Gave 3 bug pieces. I got 3 sides in which Speezy did not skimp out on. Yams...perfect. made exactly how I like them. Mac n cheese...cheesy...season perfectly too. Collard greens, has no meat but the flavor is definitely on point. I grabbed some hot sauce to put in my greens but on the first initial taste, it didnt need it. He also gave a piece of cornbread with some kind of whipped butter on top. Some of the best cornbread I've had in awhile. I didn't get any chicken wings but another customer did. Upon him packing it, i saw how freakin huge these wings were. I'm definitely going back for some chicken!! Don't sleep on this place Carlisle!! You're missing out!!

A friend told me of this place. The food was delicious. Tasted just like my cooking. Toot toot! I'm so happy I can get real food on my days off. Much appreciated.

There's soul food and, there's food that feeds your soul. Somehow, Earl brings them both together in the most magnificent ways. Hands down the best collard greens and yams (I was hesitant) I've ever had. The chicken was SO delicious yoo and literally fell off the bones tender. Can't recommend highly enough!!!

The food is excellent, portions are extremely generous, and the owner is a pleasure to do business with! Amongst the three of us who ordered, we tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all fabulous. We will be back!

Would love to give a review but have not been able to try this place yet. Call ahead to check hours and availability of food because I have tried three times to go here and each time I have gone there have been signs on the door saying sold out or hours are different than what's on Facebook or Google. And yes, I should heed my own advice but as a carlisle native I have just tried to swing past at lunch, on a whim.
