Spiga Bakery

I recently purchased a cannoli cake for my son's birthday from this bakery, hoping for a higher quality than what I'd find at the local Italian supermarket. When I arrived, I asked the staff if the cake was baked fresh. I noticed a gingerbread man decoration, which made me suspect it might have been made before Christmas. Unfortunately when we served the cake that evening, no one enjoyed it. The cake was dry, very little filling, and the slivered almonds on the outside were stale. I brought the cake back the next day they were open and was disappointed by the staff's response...they were rude and told me if I wanted a moist cake, I should have placed a special order. -Are you kidding me!!! They kept the cake, promised me the owner would call me back, but after more than 2 weeks, I have

Delicious and fresh Bakery in Massapequa. You can call ahead and place an order as well. The quality is always consistently great and staff are very friendly.

DO NOT spend your money here!!! The people or owner here are sickening. Gave my aunt the wrong cake, then called many times and yelled at her for taking the wrong cake. My aunt was handed the cake. How DARE you call a customer, or anyone and speak like that. Especially when it was YOUR fault. Absolutely horrible and I will be sure to post about this everywhere. Have the day you deserve ;)

We like to stop here when on Long Island to grab pastries to take back home with us. Everything has always been delicious! Our favorites are the Rainbow Cookies, and the Linzer Tarts. We highly recommend this place.

I love their pastries, always fresh and delicious and they taste better than they look. They also have the most pleasant and king staff. Great bakery!
