Spotsylvania County Landfill

Worst service ever, we went to dump a load of trash because we remodel our kitchen and the guy would let us because he said that he had a bad day like that’s my fault and that it was to much even tho everything was going in different containers. I have lived in Spotsylvania county for years now and I go there almost every week I have seen way bigger loads than ours. Some of the employees are nice but there some that are super rude and need to learn how to deal with human beings if they don’t know how to do that they should not be dealing with public.

They advertise that they are open until 6 pm. They close and lock the gates before 530. Why tell the public you are open until 6 when you stop letting people in at 530. At least 10 cars came in after me.

It's a great place to get rid of your trash as well as your recycles in different area and they have an area for your yard work

Can't put sunflower stalks in the compactor? Bullshit. Guess I'll throw them in a single non bio degradable 55g black trash bags and come back in 10 min. SMH q

Today we were let into the dump on Harrison Rd. We (us and another truck) were emptying our truck and only had a few more pieces to go. A man came up and told us no! Do not empty another piece! Both of us looked at each other and the man rREFUSED to allow us to empty the remains items off of our trucks. Both of us had maybe another 1-2 minutes left. The man just ultimately refused to allow us to continue. This is such POOR customer service. It is sickening!
