Amazing food! Amazing views! You couldn’t ask for more! I used to visit the Bahamas frequently and I can tell you… the conch fritters at Squid Lips are the closest thing to the Bahamian conch fritters that I have ever tasted! And the kids loved feeding the catfish right next to our table.
I have an overall rating of three because of the moldy smell (I know that's what happens by the water), but a five star rating on all the other options. My server was top notch, friendly and attentive, great sever. The food came out fast, actually to fast between the appetizer and main meal. I was not expecting much from the front of the building and the musty/mold smell as you walk up to the front door. That same smell was overpowering once I entered the building. I am very sensitive to mold/musty smells; if I had to sit inside I would have left. I was offered a seat outside and it didn't disappoint. Great laid back dining area and bar. Perfect weather, gorgeous sunset, smooth water. I had the fish dip which I loved, I could have made it a meal. I love that they offer, diced onions,
A return visit did not disappoint! The setting is at the waterfront and we experience an amazing sunset!! That alone was worth the visit. However, we had a wonderful meal with friends. We ordered a “boatload” of oysters and enjoyed them. Lauren waited on us and she was wonderful. Oh yea…the margaritas were really good too! Thanks for a great night out. Until next time…
Great view. Food was wonderful. I purchased a dressing for my wings as it was not included. Server did not bring it, then forgot again when I hunted him down. Finally the hostess brought it to me. Saw a rocket launch and a beautiful sunset with our company from California so it was all worth it.
This is a must-visit place for its location and fresh seafood. The sunset is amazing from the outdoor seating at the restaurant. The best part is that they have a pier you can wait at before or after you dine. The outdoor seating is spacious and decor is very nice. Service was good and the food was as well. We ordered seafood lasagna and it was delicious. Stuffed flounder was ok, it would have been better with a lemony sauce..
