Edit as of Dec 2025: SRV no longer offers a vegan tasting menu. We came at a not too busy time, and the chef made accommodations for us, but it sounds like this was an exception and we were told the vegan tasting menus were discontinued. The waiter was knowledgeable about which à la carte items could be prepared vegan and the food was still very delicious. Would love for the vegan tasting menu to come back reliably, it was such a treat! Original review July 2025: Absolutely recommend. Good vibes, great food, excellent service. I took a gamble booking a birthday dinner here because I’d seen a review mentioning a vegan tasting menu, but it wasn’t mentioned on the website. When we inquired upon arrival, we were excited to find that this was not a special or arduous request, they had a vegan
The food was wonderful. I loved the meatballs and stuffed peppers to start. We got a few of them. We loved that each of the dishes hit on multiple different flavors and textures - creamy, crunchy, toothsome, salty, acid, etc. The deserts were also welcome, we had the gelato. Loved that the appetizers and deserts were not overly priced - very welcoming to enjoy.
My partner and I came for our anniversary and are both vegetarian. We did the vegetarian arsenale menu which was fantastic. What was very impressive was how many dishes on their menu they were able to accommodate for vegetarians and each dish was very unique and flavorful. The drinks were each unique and delicious. We tried the stuffed peppers, the zucchini, the pepitas, the mushroom rigatoni. All were phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in Boston
We went there on Monday evening. We got seated immediately as we had reservations. Its a well decorated interior place with dim lighting. Staff is nice. Menu is limited but good variety. We had couple of appetizers, one salad and 2 main course. Food was good. Plating was wonderful. We had one drink and it was ok.
Had a birthday dinner here and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. The tables are arranged in a row with a long banquette, which creates a communal almost classical long-table dining feel that we really enjoyed. We ordered the tasting menu, which is designed as a shared experience—something we enjoyed as well. Overall, the flavors were great with some surprising elements. But we felt the menu leaned bit on the heavier and saltier side. It makes sense knowing the restaurant is managed by the same team as The Salty Pig—the dishes definitely inform that name. So we would recommend order refreshing beverages. Also, the full tasting menu was quite filling, with a lot of carbs and cheese. We would have appre
