St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church

I’m Protestant non-denominational and have been coming across orthodox YouTube videos lately. I decided to attend this one on Christmas Eve and Christmas being that it’s closest to home. I’m happy I had a chance to experience what the Orthodox Church has to offer, although this one is specifically Greek Orthodox and they speak in mainly Greek. It’s a radical difference than what I’m used to, however, I felt a deepened spiritual connection. I enjoyed the 9am Orthros service, which is the chanting of prayer and hymn. It was spoken in Greek so I can’t comment on what exactly it consists of. Immediately following is the lithurgy, which is the sermon itself.
