St. James Social Restaurant & Social Lounge

My friend and I stopped here for a nice dinner on our girls trip and it did not disappoint. The St. James offers a vintage but classy atmosphere , great food and incredibly friendly staff. The chef changes the menu every week or two, so it gives us another reason to go back when we visit the Bayfield area.

This was an excellent meal. We really enjoyed the flavors, then atmosphere, and the local drinks available. A great find for tge day in Bayfield. The cherry creme brule was one of the best I've ever had.

We had the opportunity to experience the Sunday brunch at St. James while on vacation, and it was such a fun and trendy spot! The lattes were fantastic, the live band added great energy, and being greeted and seated by the owner’s kind and polite daughters was such a charming touch. The menu is limited, but everything we tried was enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in northern Wisconsin — highly recommend!

We attended the 4 course wine pairing dinner and it was fantastic. The local Chef has broad international and national experience and focuses on using locally sourced ingredients. The wines from Trefethen Winery, located in Napa were perfect accompaniment to each course. The braised lamb shank was perfectly spiced and cooked. A great experience for a romantic getaway.

Such a wonderful atmosphere walking in. Prompt service, wonderful wait staff. The steak, shepherd's pie, and chocolate torte were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
