Stage Stop - Breakfast, Lunch & Fun

Stage Stop was recommended yesterday by another shop! They were closed for some time off after 7 years. We drove back to try it out! We were one of their first customers after they reopened! There is on-street parking in front of the restaurant, a shared parking lot "behind" the restaurant, and quite a bit of parking by the park a few blocks away. I had a cinnamon roll and a Stage Stop burrito and a sausage biscuit sandwich. I also had help! Hey! Yer eating the burrito before I took the photo! The burrito has the sausage gravy from the biscuits and gravy, but you can also get green chili on it. The biscuits are huge! Yay! There were 4 tables for dine in, but the food is packed to go. Stopped in for a breakfast burrito on my way through town and it is delicious. It Could use less potatoes, but it’s delicious nonetheless. The green chili is about perfect.The woman working the kitchen was amazingly efficient as well as funny and made for a great experience just passing through. Coffee is good as well, and the handmade raspberry turnover is unstoppable.

Stopped in for a light breakfast and latte. The HUGE blueberry muffin was awesome and the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit was fresh and tasty. While it took a little longer than your average shop the wait was worth it. The latte was just warm but tasted great. I’ll be back just for the muffin.

We stopped in twice in the past week to grab breakfast. Each time they didn't have any biscuits. 1st time we left and went down the street. Yesterday we stayed and ate. Again out of biscuits. Our food was average. Sausage patty on my breakfast sandwich was half the size of the sandwich. Our lattes were mostly floth and 1/2 coffee. Younger ladies working were not welcoming to us and other patrons. Service was slow. Outdoor seating has great views of the mountains and of the town!

A creative and cultural shop with breakfast and a wide range of drinks. staffs were very kind, we asked for a drink that was not on the menu, they enthusiastically agreed and made it perfectly.
