I like that we can bring our own bottle to drink. The food was delicious and portions were very generous. Fish was very fresh and delicious. If you dont have reservation they still accommodate you. Victor who served us, he was awesome. Thank you

Wow! We had a great Lunch at Stamna Taverna. The food was so delicious, the service was great and even the restroom was super clean. Very highly recommend.

Stamna Taverna is a great restaurant for an everyday meal or a big celebration. The interior is decorated well and looks very new and clean. The vibe is warm and family oriented. We went for lunch and split a bunch of appetizers among the 5 of us which was a great way to try lots of dishes. We visited Greece last summer and have found this restaurant to be the closest approximation in terms of flavor and quality. Prices are as expected for NJ and it’s nice that it’s BYOB. Desserts were also lovely - get the baklava if you are a cinnamon lover.

Ordered from here as a treat to myself on Valentine's Day! I Was Not Disappointed. Everything was amazing, and they even added a dessert for me!!! Pleasantly surprised by that. I will get this again because there is so much variety, and the food tastes amazing! Best treat to myself!!!

My husband and I brought his mom here for her birthday lunch. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, with a colorful bar. It reminded me of when I was in Greece. When we sat down, we got complimentary bread with olive oil and a small bowl of olives. We started with a chicken-rice lemon soup. The bowl was bigger than expected and the soup was delicious- very lemony. His mom ordered shrimp kebabs and we both ordered chicken slouvaki with lemon potatoes. Excellent food! We got sparkling water that was imported from Greece that was very good. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating- a very kind, hard-working man. We will be back!
