Star Carry Out Shop

This carry out is food is decent but some entrees has gone down hill like shrimp fried rice. It used to have egg, vegetables mixed in, now it’s so basic yellow fried rice, onion, shrimp. I drive across town just for the shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. They still have best eggs rolls but lack taste on shrimp fried rice. The carry out been around for many generations, if you aren’t familiar with the area you will be intimidated by all the people hangout in front of the store asking for money. The owners haven’t invested in upkeep of the place it look the same as it did back in 80’s.

A lot of people stand around in front of the carry out and sometimes inside, but it doesn’t feel dangerous (-1 star). The order takers are friendly given they have been in the community for years. Everything I have ordered has been pretty good. I usually order the same things every time I stop through; Shrimp Egg Rolls, Chicken Tenders with Fries, Wings, or Shrimp Fried Rice. I especially like the Tenders. They’re always nice a hot with real breast meat. ** They do take debit/credit cards with a 3.5% fee added to your total

I wanted to share my thoughts on the food and service at ST⭐️R carryout is A1. Overall, I have to say that I love it. The quality of the food and the level of service are exceptional. However, I do have some concerns about the location. It seems to be a bit inconsistent. Some days it's great, but other times I find myself hesitating to go there. I think it's something worth considering.

The lady that works at the front is nasty and extremely rude to customers. I didn't even want to eat the food. I asked for my money back

LISTEN been going here for bout 15+ yrs. This Chinese spot IDK what hell they doing to those nuggets but they hitting... Theyre regular items are always bomb steak and cheese chicken wings I LOVE THE STK AND CHEESE EGG ROLLS straight bomb. Area may get lil hectic as it is the Southside and right by a liquor store so heads up
