Star Taco

Without a doubt, the least flavorful restaurant food I've had. If you like canned food, this might be your place. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes. The street corn tasted like canned corn. Even the chips and cheese sauce were bland. And if you're looking for a traditional taco, forget it. They have some creative, but to me, not good flavored tacos. Living near by, I really wanted to like this place. I even gave it another shot thinking it was just growing pains - nope. For the prices they're asking, I can't even pretend to like it.

Ate at Star Taco for dinner on Friday. My server was super nice. The chicken and shrimp tacos were fantastic. It was too hot to sit out on the patio but we will definitely come back. Great to have another family friendly option in the neighborhood.

Great idea and will probably be more popular in the summer. Tacos are huge and good, I do not like the salsa. Service needs some help, first time was great second time was pretty bad. I ordered an app and never got it, it wasn't on the bill so no issue there but they let an extra $11 walk out the door. Im giving 4 stars for the tacos.

We had heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Tacos were good but salsa with the chips was just so so. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The big surprise was sitting out on their deck. The space is great for sitting outside, but there were at least 5 tables that still had not been bussed. The resulting mess was less than appetizing.. The next table must have had a small child eating there because chips were scattered all around the floor We were the only ones out there and being mid afternoon, few diners were in the restaurant. With at least 4 waitresses working, one would expect that area to be ready for the next patrons.

Not good at all! My husband had the nachos with beef and was not seasoned and very little beef. Mostly lettuce actually. I had the fish fajitas. Very bland and there were bones in the fish. Grilled pineapple from a can....yuck!! Mexican street corner no taste, either. Chips were greasy and the salsa undesirable. All in all, very bland. To be in Mt. Pleasant they need to step up their game!! Unfortunately, I won't go back to find out if they do. I'll be shocked if they last through the summer!!
