Stopped by the Starbucks at O'Hare International Airport for a quick bite and caffeine fix before my flight. Ordered the Spinach Feta Wrap — as always, it lived up to its signature reputation. Warm, savory, and perfectly filling for travel. But the real surprise came with my Oat Milk Iced Latte with Raspberry Syrup. I was expecting a subtly flavored drink... instead, I got a cup full of actual raspberry fruits floating in my latte! 😂 I couldn’t help but laugh — not what I had in mind, but hey, it turned into a DIY experience. Had to crush the berries myself to get that raspberry flavor infusion going. A bit unexpected for a busy airport setting, but certainly memorable. Whilst I know I am spoilt as an Aussie when it comes to coffee, for the most part I have been able to find decent coffee in Chicago. But out of desperation I went to Starbucks. It’s a disaster. Just avoid it if you like proper espresso coffee.

Terrible location where the barista (pictured) was by himself and had headphones in, so he had to take them out and constantly ask customers what they said. Unprofessional. It took 15 minutes for us to get our drinks after 2 clients ahead of us, the fruit cups had old fruit in it, and he forgot to make one of our drinks. He also suggested to a group of 4 customers to leave and come back because it was going to take him a while to finish our order....

The location is next to baggage claim so I️ assume they get a lot of costumers. I️ asked for “Grande white choc mocha, 2 pumps, coconut milk” please. Lady immediately looks at me like she didn’t like what I️ ordered. Well it’s her job so.... they didnt make it with coconut milk and on top of that, they add whip cream. I️ asked them to remake it and they kept mumbling in Spanish saying bad comments about me and seemed upset, thinking I️ didn’t know Spanish (I’m a fluent speaker). Waited 20 minutes just to see that they forgot the espresso in the brown sugar shaken espresso! Confronted them and they were adamant they put the espresso in, even though there was no brown color or foam on the top. The strawberry acai lemonade tasted like warheads powder. 0/5 if i could.
