Starbucks Coffee Company

This Starbucks is horrible the employees are rude and clearly lack in customer service. I encountered one employee snap at a customer for Splenda when they clearly didn’t have it out. I had a friend try to use a birthday reward and they said they don’t except it which seams weird considering your a Starbucks…

The locations is perfect. The problem is that their staffs are not so professional, since I have a lot of times my coffee messed up by them, either using the wrong milk or missed the sweetener. I could understand that most of them are students in the university and they are not experienced and this is not their full-time job, so it is ok, but objectively speaking the Starbucks in downtown are much better than this one, and this one is too small to hold the huge crowds during a semester. Sometimes going to downtown can save you ten minutes.

This Starbucks is not like the others. The employees here always seem to be genuinely upbeat and it gives the place a good vibe. Being in the middle of a college campus I have seen this place with a line that is at least a hundred people long yet I always manage to get through the line in what seems like an incredibly small time period. They could use a little more space but they take what little room they have and provide a wonderful experience.

I am a barista at a different location and this Starbucks is subpar. Given the amount of traffic they have, the actual size of this location is quite cramped for the employees and they have to work in this small space which is a concern. I have ordered here half a dozen times and my order has been either typed into the system incorrectly or the drink was made incorrectly every time.

I as an ex-partner hate to leave this review. I truly, truly do hate to do so, but I have to be direct in my feedback. I came in during a break between classes and the staffing was not reflective of how busy it is. Furthermore, the person working the frappuchino bar was trained horribly. I watched him take extremely long to make the simplest drinks, messing up the steps and clearly forgetting ingredients until the last minute. He took fifteen minutes to make four drinks, and he was only (!) working the frappuchino bar.
