Might be the worst Starbucks I’ve been to. I ordered a matcha latte, they gave me hot chocolate 🙃
I became a Customer of the Potomac Yard Starbucks after the pandemic although I have been a customer of Crystal City and surrounding Starbucks for years. This Starbucks is special. The team have endured the capture of my area by Amazon forcing community businesses in to decline and challenge. This morning I saw the manual Starbucks employees have at the register for Customer who need large print and/or Braille. In an ADA conscious world, this is awesome, to be applauded!!!! This Starbucks team was further challenged with Amazon/Vtech construction on the Potomac Yard shopping complex. This Starbucks was further challenged with the Vtech/Potomac Yard construction that staged itself exactly where the Potomac Yard Starbucks sits. That said, dark clouds have silver linings. Super rude staff. They messed up my $9 drink and wanted me to pay extra so they can fix it. Totally unprofessional. First picture from there and 2nd picture from another Starbucks that actually know how to make the drink. Won’t be going to there again!
Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Today I watched a customer walked in and yelled at an employee. The baristas have always been kind! Please remember to be patient with them.
Nice coffee, fast service, and a clean environment good for a quick coffee break
