Starbucks Coffee Company

This Starbucks location features a standalone two-story building with a high ceiling, spacious interior, and plenty of parking. Unfortunately, during my visit, they did not have matcha lattes available, so I opted for their standard latte drinks, which met my expectations in terms of flavor. While the service was satisfactory, I believe a bit more attention to cleanliness could enhance the coffee experience in this pleasant space.

This is hands down my favorite Starbucks in the DMV. The space is huge, with an upstairs area and even a fireplace, so it never feels cramped the way some cafés do. They recently renovated it and the new setup is great, really clean and modern without losing that cozy feeling. The staff is genuinely friendly too. They always say hi when you walk in and goodbye when you leave, which sounds small but makes the place feel welcoming. Parking is super easy and convenient, which I appreciate more than I probably should. There’s also a wheelchair ramp, and the whole layout feels thoughtful and accessible. All around, just a really comfortable place to sit, work, or take a breather. I keep coming back.

Grabbed coffee here recently and it was a fantastic experience. The location was extremely clean and had a fresh airy vibe. The staff were very upbeat, friendly and polite, and the order was correct —they were very efficient. There is plenty of parking around the building, and it has a ton of indoor seating. There is also some seating outdoors, and they had a terrific variety of the typical Starbucks fare.

One star. Ordered a grande, got half coffee, half foam. Syrup all clumped at the bottom, not even stirred. Paid full price for what looks like someone's failed science project. Skip this Starbucks unless you want disappointment with extra milk.

I got a cherry-chai. Very yummy. They have an upstairs. They drew a cool flower on my drink. 😋 🌸
