Strike 2, negative stars for Happy Valley Starbucks! Today (Sunday Nov. 9th at 10:40 a.m.) in the drive-thru, I ordered a tall Americano served in a grande cup with 3 raw sugars and the remainder of the cup filled with cream. For the first time, the drive-thru told me they would not be able to fill the cream the remainder of the way (a few mm) unless they charged me extra. That is the first time anyone ever said that and doesnt make sense, because when I come in an order the same, no Starbucks rep polices me at the self service station and no one has told me they would charge extra for cream before. So, I cancelled my order and when I came to the drive-thru window, I asked to speak with a manager. When the manager came out I explained what happened. She said they are supposed to charge e

I come in all the time but during the fall is the best! The smell of pumkin and espresso in the air! Today is Halloween and I love the costumes they are wearing! Sims to where is Waldo. Old favored location over the years. I'm usually rolling out of bed and heading straight to it whenever I find myself staying with a friend in the condo complex across SE Misty Dr. They've always been kind, and I've never been admonished for any day I have, let's say, over extended my patronage. Where I'm from, The San Francisco Bay Area, I grew up in espresso cafes. In Berkeley, there's always been a faction of mad geniuses who practically use a cafe like an adult care center. I'm not that bad, but I'm always appreciative of the Starry Mermaid's minions radical acceptance. Güd place for a coffee date? 100%

This is my favorite store along Sunnyside Road. They make my beverages exactly as ordered and for some reason never leave me feeling disappointed like some other nearby stores. Service is super friendly and usually quick, even with a drive thru line. A little patio seating, ample indoor seating. Prices have gone up, and some food is quite overpriced, which is why I rated food 4/5 stars.

Normally I make coffee at home, but I went here today to treat myself. I ordered an oatmilk carmel mocha and that prompted the cashier to ask if I wanted no whip, and I said yes, no whip. I got my drink at 9am, drank it, and at 10am wondered why I was feeling so weird. And then all the things that could go wrong did go wrong: abdominal distension, bloating, stomach and intestinal pain, diarrhea. I still had my left over coffee cup in my car and I checked it, only to find that the cashier had not put oatmilk on the order. It's my day off, and I'm spending it fighting for my life on the porcelain throne and wondering how I can complete all my errands within a 5 minute radius of a bathroom. People, don't trust the process, advocate for yourselves and check your order tag before you drink it 😑
