Starbucks

Prices have somehow doubled, yet customer service has managed to get worse. Their system is conveniently “down,” meaning they cannot charge the bill to my room, but the shift leader is still treating the situation as if I personally caused the outage and as if I now owe them money. To complete the experience, she was chewing gum the entire time, which is apparently acceptable conduct in a food service establishment.

I can see why this Starbucks gets so much criticism. I paid $20 for a ciabatta sandwich and a matcha latte, which felt overpriced because it's located inside a hotel. On top of that, I had to wait about 10 minutes for my order, which made the experience even less appealing. However, the one positive is that the coffee remains consistent with what you’d expect from Starbucks. Still, not sure it’s worth the money or the wait.

I asked for peach tranquility in my medicine ball at Vdara location and the barista had no idea what I was talking about. They made their version of what a medicine ball is and it was awful and bitter. Unfortunately there are only a few starbucks that know how to make this. This was actually recommended to me by a barista in NM and it was very good when they made it. But here at the Vdara location it was poorly made.

I was eager to try a specific recipe that replicates the taste of the famous Dubai chocolate in a Starbucks drink. The recipe goes like this: start by ordering a Grande Iced Matcha Latte, then add two pumps of pistachio sauce, and finish it off with chocolate cold foam. If you prefer a Tall size, just add one pump of pistachio sauce; for a Venti, go with three pumps. Since we’re staying at Aria, it was super convenient to pop into the nearby Starbucks. Excited to try it, I went to Starbucks at 6 a.m., but they were out of pistachio sauce, so I canceled my order. I returned around noon, but they still didn’t have the sauce, which left me pretty frustrated. I was even considering leaving a one-star review. The standard coffee stop before heading out to Red Rock canyon for a city scoot adventure. Tee got in line at 7am and it was kind of long. But moved along . We got our drinks at about 7:30 just in time for our pickup to our adventure Get down to the lobby early if you want a drink. Especially when the hotel starts getting full like it did when we were there This was on a Sunday morning and still pretty busy was friendly and efficient.
