Extensive breakfast menu and large portions in a friendly atmosphere! Extremely welcoming owner offered us a variety of homemade breads and pastries, all of them great options. Blueberry muffin was outstanding, rhubarb-strawberry butter was amazing on the griddle-toasted sourdough and hash was the best I’ve tried in ages.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Stars and Stripes Diner, and we can confidently say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The food was nothing short of delicious, especially the waffle with fresh strawberries which was perfectly crisp and fluffy, along with the assortment of homemade sourdough toast that was rich in flavor and toasted to perfection. What really made this visit unforgettable, though, was the chef Wanda. She went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she prepare the most amazing food, but she also took the time to share some incredible tips and even a few recipes for sourdough bread and discard starter banana and corn bread. Delicious for every time! The Bickford Benedict is SO good. Overall great breakfast and even greater people. I realized too late that I had no cash and no debit card to get cash. They kindly said not to worry about it and enjoy my breakfast. I'll be back with cash tomorrow!
