Steak 'n Shake

Just steak n shake has always been bad with time as far as making food but that can be attributed to the fact that Altamonte is a busy area, and there are few places open late. However over the last couple of days add a completely unreasonable unprofessional series of experiences with the store, specifically the owner Robb. Saturday night I came in pretty late and waited roughly an hour to get food from this location. While the staff were friendly it seemed that some of the lower ranking employees we're either overwhelmed or untrained or simply angry in some cases as one of the cooks walked out in the middle of what appeared to be a late night Rush. After finally getting my food I left going to get home and discover that the frisco melt sandwiches might as well have been a chunk of burnt g

Place was clean, my order arrived quickly. The hamburger was quite tasty 8/10. I also really liked the chili cheese fries 8/10. Onion rings could have been better 7/10.

To start off, Me and my dad would go to steak n shake for lunch pre pandemic area probably more than 5 yrs ago and we used to love it and we NEVER had any issues then. However, I was working at my neighbors Wednesday 2/25/26 and he offered to buy us Burger Fi for lunch, I said naw, that's too expensive, so then he offerd Steak n Shake and we aggreed. He placed the order around 12p, we received it around 1235p from door dash. Before I ate it I noticed the meat was different from years back, it was thicker and softer than from back then. We were done eating by 1250p and back to work, around 3p it felt like there was an atomic bomb going off in my stomach, I was burping like crazy. By 4p I was throwing it up, I couldn't keep it down. Steak ’n Shake has always been one of our go-to spots for a sweet treat, and today’s visit reminded us why. We tried the Nutella shake, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely amazing. The KitKat shake was also really good, with that satisfying crunch blended into the smooth ice cream, and the Orange Creamsicle shake was refreshingly sweet with the perfect balance of citrus and cream. Their milkshakes have always been some of the best, and while we usually grab them through the drive-thru in standard styrofoam cups, today we decided to sit inside.
