Steak 'n Shake

Yelp ain't got nothing on this but I'll tell you right now this is the greatest spot you can find in Port Charlotte for a steak n shake quality people quality food and quality ingredients

The food was terrible. Waited over an hour and it wasn't even fresh or hot. The hamburger was disgusting tasted rotten like someone took it out trash and heated it up. Messed the order up despite it being plain with onions and cheese. The fries were only good thing but the extra charge for the beef tallow and wait time not worth it. Your better off going to Culver's down the street. The employees were nice but they couldn't cook anything. Won't go back again. Used come all the time before COVID but they really cut employees no staff, only distopian service kiosks and lights and dirty tables. I miss old service and food. No table service, yet they ask for tip on machine.

I had hair in my burger. Drove back that’s about 10 minutes. We’re at 20 minutes now. Complained about it. No one seemed to care. They refunded me for just a one burger and nothing else to try to make up for it. Then got accused for placing the hair in the burger. Just felt like Customer Service was pretty crappy. Didn’t wanna do anything to make it right didn’t seem to care. I drive a diesel pick up truck spent 40 minutes driving. After arguing going back-and-forth, the best they could do is said come back after 5 PM. Not spending any more money on diesel driving back to this place. It’s been a good minute since I’ve been to steak ‘n Shake, but don’t think I’ll be ever be going back. At the end, my lunch took more than an hour customer Service was just so bad. Hmm first one star review lets see. Food took 20 mins to get out and noone else was in the lobby maybe drive thru slammed. Grilled cheese not melted like a cheese sandwitch it was not edible. We had to ask for our shake after we were done eating that looked good. The table behind us was messy like it could be found in a walking dead universe with tons of napkins just chilling. This place has gone significantly downhill id consider mcdonalds or culvers youll have a better meal. You do have access to bathrooms and air conditioning and seats (which you can find anywhere else)

This is the Only fast food place in the entire area that does not make me bloated and feel like crap. Burgers are super good fries are made in waygu beef tallow, and the shakes!!! Oh the shakes are SO GOOD!!! And if you go into the restaurant, they serve them in a Glass! Great food, Great service, Good, Clean restaurant and probably one of the cheaper places to go. Best Value for sure. Good Job Steak n Shake
