The experience is to be desired as the line is long and moves astronomically slow. The crabs though a great price of you do a biggie bag, are hit it miss. Sometimes the crabs are light and empty and other times they are meaty and heavy. For that price though, it is a great deal regardless.

These guys at Steamers Crab are the best tasting & steamed crabs this side of the water. They are courteous and very generous with the sizes of bag they sell. They never disappoint....we'll only when they sell out or closed. I am truly addicted to them & I constantly need my fix every week!!!! Love them & their delicious steamed crabs 🦀!!!😋😊

This is the best place for steam crabs. Their price for a dozen and the quality of the crabs is hard to beat. I had to wait in line, but it moved fast. I recommend that you follow their FB page to get updates on when they will open (usually around 2pm) and if they are sold out. Also, they have their price list posted on the page.

Steamers Crabhouse has the best crabs in Newport News. The prices are amazing and the quality of crabs are even better. My family are heavy crab eaters and a male biggie bag still spreads. You can get the crabs unseasoned or with extra seasoning if you like. The crabs are fresh daily and HEAVY. They usually go very quickly so always take advantage of the pre orders and follow them on Facebook for live updates. Steamers is a representation of what the Chesapeake Bay Region is about!
